Journey to Reclaiming YOUR Body

I hold an extremely optimistic belief that we should all enjoy existing in our bodies. This conviction stems from witnessing profound transformations, both within myself and among countless clients.

For many years, I lived in a frozen state as a protective mechanism, shielding myself from overwhelming emotions and symptoms. This response allowed me to dissociate momentarily, numbing sensations and keeping myself as far from embodiment as possible.

The journey of returning to my body and healing wasn’t always easy, but it was worth it. It often involves finding safe spaces to start feeling again, gradually dipping one toe in at a time.

Too often, I encounter individuals in my line of work who are at their breaking points or at this extreme moment of dissociation.

And, I’m here to tell you, you don’t have to reach extremes before seeking support. Investing in our well-being at the first sign of imbalance is true preventative care and an act of self-love.

Let me ask you a question: Currently, do you feel like a stranger in your own body?

At my lowest point, acne ravaged my skin, bloating made me uncomfortable, menstrual cycles ceased, and low energy sapped my ability to engage passionately in life.

If you resonate with this experience or something similar, can I get a “hell yeah”? (Reply and let me know!)

I discovered how to reclaim my body for good – and you can too!

Firstly, “reclaiming your body” involves much more than changing your diet and exercise routine.

Imagine this: You own a high-performance vehicle (your body), fueling it with top-quality gasoline (your diet), and then attempting to accelerate from zero to sixty in 30 seconds (your work, exercise, dreams) with a clogged air filter, low oil levels, imbalanced tires, and faulty electrical wiring. What do you think would happen?

Likely, the car wouldn’t perform as expected, right? Similarly, when you focus solely on diet and exercise without addressing underlying issues, you may not see the results you desire.

In this month’s blog/newsletter, I want to help you understand what might be happening “under the hood” of your body, so you can reclaim it for good.

Have you ever found yourself staring in the mirror, wondering how you ended up feeling this way?

…Where did the bloating come from?

…Do others notice the circles under your eyes?

…How will you manage your workload today?

…Is hiding under the covers a viable option?

I’m here to tell you, “You’re not alone!”

Your current state didn’t manifest overnight. Feeling disconnected from your body is often a gradual process, accumulating amidst the chaos of work, family, stress, and life’s other demands.

To reclaim your body for good, all its systems must function harmoniously, just like a high-performance vehicle.

If your luxury car experienced performance issues, what would you do? You’d take it to a specialist for a comprehensive evaluation, including diagnostic tests on every aspect of its mechanics.

Likewise, to understand what’s happening beneath your body’s surface – with hormones, immunity, digestion, detoxification, energy levels, and nervous system – you need thorough functional lab tests.

Unfortunately, typical blood tests from a general practitioner won’t provide the depth of insight you need. (Stay tuned! I will do an upcoming blog on this topic!)

Functional lab tests, however, offer comprehensive insights into your body’s functioning and give a clear path to finding balance. Plus, they’re simple to complete from the comforts of your home.

Running these types of lab tests is what has helped so many of my clients uncover hidden healing opportunities such as:

  • Estrogen dominance
  • Insulin resistance
  • Cortisol dysfunction
  • Liver congestion
  • Poor thyroid function
  • Heavy Metal Toxicity
  • Intestinal parasites, bacteria, and yeast overgrowth

These healing opportunities were standing in the way of allowing your best self to shine despite all your efforts.

And using the data from these lab tests to guide recommendations for diet, rest, exercise, stress reduction, supplementation, and toxin removal is exactly how clients of mine have:

… returned to feeling better than they did in their 20’s

… finally found control over their stress response

… discovered a root cause of their Hashimoto’s

… realized that heavy metal toxicity was affecting their mental health

… decreased inflammation so they look in the mirror and finally see themselves!

Feeling good in your body is within reach. All you need are the right tests and resources to guide you.

If you’re ready to get your hands on the right functional lab tests, resources, and guidance to resolve annoying symptoms and regain comfort within your body, I’d be honored to assist you!

Coming from someone who wasn’t fully living for so many years of my life due to dysfunctions in my gut and hormones, I’m a firm believer that health is the greatest wealth and the foundation from which the joys of life flourish.

I’m here when you’re ready to receive support!
